What is The Mystery Shop?

The Mystery Shop is the Chicago area’s leading plotter of participatory mysteries. Since 1988, the company has been staging shows for a wide range of audiences. Its productions are real mysteries – written by professional playwrights and performed by professional actors. The Mystery Shop is committed to providing quality entertainment to an active and involved audience. We stimulate the mind as well as the funny bone.

The Mystery Shop has a program for every group and every budget. We provide quality entertainment at affordable prices. However, we recognize the financial constraints that affect non-profit organizations. Therefore, we have developed a special discounted price schedule for non-profit groups and private parties.
